I did very much. It scratched a very specific itch in me. One of my favorite old school sci-fi movies was The Day the Earth Stood Still and this had that kind of vibe. It didn’t bog down in the tech, it was just a fun ride with some great characters.

Oh, and thanks for not erasing my memory entirely. 29 happy years with my hubby would have been lost. And memories of the crappy years before he and I met make me appreciate him all the more.

Thanks for asking. They are two completely separate stories. In fact, I’m thinking I will change the name of “First Contact” before I take it any further to avoid that potential confusion.
